Funding

Various partnerships with community and government bodies are established that enable s_Lab to carry out projects of public relevance and meaning to the contemporary city. In return for funding a range of community service activities is offered, including: providing advice and consultancy, organising cultural events such as exhibitions or educational programs, working with diverse groups to develop their potential, and providing access to information.

Steffen believes it is important to contribute to the promotion of Community Service projects and Design Research projects based in real world circumstances.

During the last 5 years, s_Lab attracted, in collaboration with other clusters, over $1.2 mill. in consultancy and research funding.
