Appointed UNESCO Chair in Sustainable Urban Development for Asia and the Pacific, by UNESCO Paris
The first UNESCO Chair in Sustainability in the Asia-Pacific has been established on 01 August 2008, to consult on rapid urbanization process. Steffen has been appointed as the inaugural Chair holder. www.unesco.org
