The s_Lab is fully aware of the role buildings and cities play in energy consumption, with over 50% of energy expenditure taking place in the built environment. The independent s_Lab researches realistic and effective solutions for large-scale green buildings and sustainable city growth in a global context. Over the last 15 years, the s_Lab has received significant awards, prizes and research grants for its built works, publications and diverse educational activities.
